The hike up the mountain was somewhat refreshing, I have to admit. The higher you go, the clearer things became. It was actually beautiful from up there.

Five soil samples at 1000 ft each, four plant samples, though some may be the same, and the last was the most concerning, a fur sample. It seems the deities of this City enjoy adding things to the scenery. Their reasoning behind it is still a mystery to me. Ridiculous. Either way, I suggest no one go near it, that is if you don't want to risk getting hurt.

[Haruka closed her phone agitated as she headed towards the bedroom. That bastard! He had better hope she never finds him. The things that she wanted to do to him were beyond words. The blonde walked in as her grave eyes stared at the woman lying in her bed. Michiru. Her partner in crime. Her best friend. Lo- no, she couldn't assume. She just arrived and already she was caught up in this mess. It was a good thing she was the one on patrol that night or she may have never-. The thought was unbearable as she curled her fingers into a tight fist. She let him escape after committing such crime. It was unforgivable.

After gathering herself again, she sat on the bed beside her partner. Her long fingers combing through her own short hair, she dropped her head in shame as she stared down at the phone in her hand. Haruka knew of the odd phenomenon behind dying in the City but never has anyone close to her experience it nor herself. She impatiently waited for one of the doctors to contact her so she knew what to do or expect in situations such as these.]

[ooc: Soooooooooo yeaaaaaaaaah. lol In short, Michiru was murdered by Tod on the day of her arrival and Haruka found her and tried to follow him but failed. The log is still being done and will be backdated but this is the aftermath of that.]
